I have a dog that i just gott from the pound she is still scared and shes super skinny and she wont eat! hlp!!?

Ok so I don't have a dog but I had this same issue with a cat I adopted from the shelter. She was terrified and would not eat, I kept trying to coax her out from under my bed to get her to eat. Finally, after I left her alone for a while, in a quiet room and shut the door she came around and started eating. I think you just do what you can, show them where the food bowl is and then give them some space. It is a huge adjustment for an animal to get used to. They just went from the scary shelter with lots of barking dogs to a strange house with some person they don't know that is showering them with lots of attention. Give your dog space. Make sure food is available it will not starve itself to death if there is food available.
