Is it safe to store my childrens clothing in the attic in sealed garbage bag in between children?

They are clean and dry and I pushed as much air out as possible. They may be in there for a few years. I stored my first sons in boxes and put them in the storage unit and they were fine except gor a few bugs(ewww)but I do not have that option.I do not want to open them and find mildew later.
