How can load an exe file linking to an hyperkink on the website without first showing a dialog with run on?

i linked an exe to a hyperlink on the website, but when i click on the link, it first comes with a dialogbox asking me to choose either Run on or Don't Run on. can anyone ist me on what to do to make it go straight to the application without any dialogbox. thank you in anticipation
