How should I ask my boyfriend to a school dance?

At my school the dance is called vice versa. It just means the girl asks the boy. It's called Sadie Hawkins or Twirp at other schools. But anyways, I don't want to just ask him. It is always kind of like a competition at my school to see who can ask the cutest way. So any really cute good ideas?! Thanks!
